Homemade Parmesan Cheese Fries
2 Medium Russet Potatoes
1/4 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
4 Cups Peanut Oil
1 1/2 teaspoons GOURMET ALL-PURPOSE SEASONING SALT - SPICY ALL-PURPOSE SEASONING SALT, or GOURMET LITE ALL-PURPOSE SEASONING SALT
1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2) Cut Potatoes lengthwise, 1/4 inch square or use a french fry cutter.
3) Place the cut potatoes in a pot and cover with the peanut oil. Add enough to cover the potatoes by 1-2 inches over the top.
4) Turn burner to high and cook until golden brown and tender, stirring every minute or so to make sure the fries don't stick together or stick to the bottom of the pan.
5) Remove from oil, with a slotted spoon or tongs, and drain on paper towels.
6) Sprinkle with your choice of GOURMET ALL-PURPOSE SEASONING SALT - SPICY ALL-PURPOSE SEASONING SALT, or GOURMET LITE ALL-PURPOSE SEASONING SALT and toss.
7) Place on a platter, sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese, and place in 400 degree oven for 3 - 5 minutes, until cheese is melted.
8) Dip in Aioli or your favorite dipping sauce and ENJOY!!!
Serve with Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders, Whole Roasted Chicken, BBQ Bacon Cheddar Cheese Smash Burger Sliders, or Grilled Firecracker Chicken Wings.
Tidbits: Alternatively, you could use a deep fryer instead of a pot.
